Our Newport 12ft. wide storage shed is designed so you can cover with exterior siding of your choice. The shed's 2x4 framing is sheathed with 7/16" OSB which the homeowner will apply vinyl, stucco, wood lap siding, etc. This allows you to match the style of your home or have a truly unique. Exterior siding is purchased separately from your local home center.

Featuring two entry doors the Newport offers you easy access to all your equipment and stored items. For extra storage there is an 8ft. wide loft running the length of the building. The loft has 4ft.-3in. of headroom so there is plenty of room for all those where do I put it items.

Picture depicts the 12'x20' size for this model. Optionally, you may upgrade the wood pocket doors to french doors.

Best Barns are constructed from the best quality materials available. Should there be any subpar of damaged material just let us know and we'll provide replacements.

General

Once you receive your new building begin by unpacking the pre-cut framing, doors and hardware. You will also receive a detailed manual with step by step instructions. Each step is explained with clear instructions and detailed line art and has been developed with the novice builder in mind.

Siding

Vinyl siding purchased by owner.

Exterior walls are prepped with OSB (oriented strand board) for application of vinyl siding of your choice. Owner buys vinyl siding locally.

Vinyl siding offers the shed owner a lasting durable finish to compliment their home.

Loft

The Newport's unique truss design provides a 2nd floor loft for additional storage space. During construction you choose the size and location of access to the loft.

Windows

Two (2) Windows included

Single hung windows with screens & decorative raised panel shutters.
Optionally you may order additional windows to provide more light and venting.

Single hung aluminum 18" x 36" windows provide light and ventilation. Lockable frames are durable and easy to operate. Screens limit birds and insects. Decorative raised panel shutters are included.

Two (2) Dormer windows included

Doors

The Newport includes double doors with transom windows located on the 12ft. gable end. Door opening is 72-1/2in. W x 78-1/2in. H. The 9-Lite walk-in door is 32in. x 80in. and can be located anywhere on the other three walls.
